Fall for Art will be ODC’s biggest fundraiser this year and the support from the entire ODC community will directly support all the programming, events, and resources that you love and have grown to rely on for creativity, self-care, and community.

    Start 2025 with a bang, as you join ODC/Dance for an inspiring long weekend of dance and art in New York City. You and a guest will live the life of an ODC dancer - join the Company for rehearsal and observe technical and dress runs as they prepare for the weekend’s performances at the annual conference of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. Your getaway will also include a cocktail party hosted by ODC Board Vice Chair Mary Margaret Jones, seats to ODC’s performances at Ailey Citigroup Theater and New York City Center, and art field trips curated and led by ODC’s artistic leadership.

    They say dance is transformational. This will certainly be the case when you don a white tutu for this very special Ballet experience led by Christopher Lam, the Director of Ballet Program at ODC School. Join Chris for an all-ages, all-levels Ballet class on Saturday February 8, 2025 as he leads you in Ballet technique with his signature emphasis on theatricality, musicality and storytelling through movement. Christopher has performed around the globe with the Australian Ballet, Le Grand Théâtre de Genève, Gothenburg Ballet, and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens before establishing himself as a leading and beloved Ballet instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area. You’ll reunite with your flock on Wednesday February 19, 2025 and migrate to the San Francisco Ballet where Chris will join you for the Cool Britannia program which features works by Christopher Wheeldon, Wayne McGregor, and Akram Khan.

Awaiting you will be reserved seats with excellent views of the afternoon’s performances during the Mark Foehringer Dance Project’s Annual Dancing in the Park SF, emceed by ODC’s Associate Director of Artistic Planning Joseph Copley and featuring performances by ODC/Dance and the ODC Dance Jam, among many others.
