Born from a desire to instill technical challenge, creativity, and high-performance standards, ODC’s Dance Jam is a rigorous training program for teens aged 13-18 looking to flex their artistic muscles.
The Dance Jam trains in contemporary, ballet, and composition/choreography 5 days a week. They have exposure and access to the current ODC company and company alumni, with shared performance events, rehearsal observations, and repertory coaching. Their 2022 spring season is a culmination of this year’s work featuring pieces by Kimi Okada, Dexandro Montalvo, Crystaldawn Bell, and an ODC company repertory piece by Brenda Way.
